On Electric Motorsport

Fuelling the Future

Growth of Zero Emissions Championships have been on the rise in 2014 with the

ABB FIA Formula E World Championship (Formula E), Extreme E (XE), and FIM Enel MotoE World Cup.

An electric car is soon to make it's debut at LeMans

F1 to become net zero by 2030.

To support this development at a lower level in the sport we have seen the emergence of electric karting series such as Total Karting Zero in the UK, Rotax Project E-20 in Germany amongst others.

In Sweden they have launched a Junior Electric Touring Car Championship and the BRSCC recently announced they will have a junior single seater series as they have with their Formula Ford Series. I really want to be part of this amazing development.

Looking to the future of Motorsport - it is going to electric, hydrogen or synthetic fuels without compromise on speed!  For now electric motorsport is domintaing the field in terms of green motorsport.

Demand in electric motorsport will become greater and young people like me involved in racing will want to align themselves with companies - motorsport and other that have zero emmisions and cutting edge technology at their hearts.

“Motorsport engineers are pioneering both new and existing forms of propulsion to meet the challenges of climate change by creating an eclectic range of solutions."
